PN Reichert Consulting is dedicated to providing expert guidance in the evolving field of international education. With nearly two decades of global experience, our mission is to support institutions through strategic development, policy advising, and organizational change, ensuring they can adapt and thrive in an increasingly complex educational landscape.
Founded in 2015 by Dr. Philipp Reichert, PN Reichert Consulting provides innovative and comprehensive solutions for the ever-changing landscape of international education. Specializing in strategic program development, policy advising, and global engagement strategies, the firm guides institutions through the complexities of international education and enhances their effectiveness in a globalized world.
With nearly two decades of experience in international education, policy advising, and higher education administration, Philipp brings a deep understanding of the intersection between government policies, institutional strategies, and the unique challenges faced by international students. He holds an Honours Master’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University in the Netherlands, a doctorate from the University of Calgary, and is an RCIC-designated expert in Canadian immigration law.
A scholar-practitioner, Philipp has extensive international experience spanning the Netherlands, Canada, Germany, and the USA. His academic research focuses on the internationalization of higher education, and he frequently contributes to the field through presentations, workshops, and consultations as an expert in immigration law and policy. Philipp currently services as the Director, Global Engagement at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Beyond his work at UBC, Philipp serves as Senior Advisor for Learning and Development at the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) and holds leadership roles in national and international organizations, including the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) and the Indo Canada Education Council (ICEC). His commitment to enhancing the international education landscape is further demonstrated through his advisory roles on various boards, including Wayble (formerly Isempower), and his participation in the Central Okanagan Local Immigration Partnership Committee, advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly for newcomers to the Okanagan Valley.
His dedication to international education has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the CBIE North Star Award for Emerging Leader in 2016, the UBC Award of Excellence for Global Citizenship in 2020, the Harold Josephson Award from AIEA in 2021, and the BCCIE Outstanding Program in International Education Award in 2024 for the "Global Pathways" initiative at UBC Okanagan that was based on his doctoral research.
